We design your project together based on your desires and your budget. No ready-made packages here — everything is personalized.
12 years of wedding planning (yep, time flies!), we've got plenty of stories to tell — and we definitely know all the traps to avoid.
We provide you with tools to track your project and access all useful documents in a snap — or should we say, a click!
We have solid partners we trust completely. We're more than happy to introduce them to you.
We do our best to stay as available as possible and respond promptly — including via a dedicated WhatsApp group.
We approach every project as humans, not machines. Building a meaningful, personalized relationship with each client is key for us.
October 2012, on the balcony of our shared apartment, we made the decision to launch our "little business" while listening to Charles Aznavour’s "La Bohème" (way before Jennifer’s taste in music went downhill).
June 2013, official launch of Ma Vie de Bohème, event planning agency.
Your happiness facilitator.
After more than 10 wedding seasons (yep, just like TV shows), we've got the experience you need for a stress-free journey — while staying open to your wildest dreams.

This is the dream team we work with on all our projects. Joking aside, we’re a duo, but we expand the team (with actual humans!) when needed to ensure quality service no matter the scale of your event or the number of guests.

Yes, we know it’s called an FAQ. But for aesthetic reasons, we went with a longer title. If you’ve made it this far and you're actually reading this, you’re the best! We already love you.
Jennifer lives in Carrières-sur-Seine and Sophie at 5B rue des Brices, 78910 Tacoignières.
We mostly work throughout Île-de-France, sometimes Normandy, and we often go to Provence since we have accommodation there.
We've gotten used to having most of our meetings via video calls — Google Meet, Skype, Zoom, Teams, FaceTime, Whatsapp, Houseparty… Yep, you guessed it, due to the pan... and the co... (sorry, our keyboards still struggle with those words). So yes, we're super flexible and can chat anytime.
But if you’re not comfortable trusting someone with planning or decorating your wedding without seeing them in real life — especially if you fear we might be virtual clones of Jennifer and Sophie — we can definitely meet IRL.
However, due to past incidents, we must refuse entry to llamas. If you don’t have a llama-sitter, feel free to park your fluffy friend by the two-wheeler spots near the entrance.
As very serious people, we have totally official office hours:
Monday to Friday: 10am to 7pm
Better than your local bank, but not as fast as Amazon’s support.
We also do evening meetings when you have no daytime availability.
Weekends are for us — unless it’s wedding season. Then we play it by ear and try to be available as much as possible for couples and vendors.
Drop us an email or use the contact form and share all the juicy details about the event you’d like us to plan or decorate.
We'll get back to you with all the info about our work style, service options, and associated rates.
If everything sounds good, we’ll set up a little Google Meet video call so you can confirm if we're actually as funny as our website suggests.
No time to type? Or your dog ate your keyboard? Just give us a call!
Test Google LinkWe get lots of emails from new vendors starting out. We always try to reply to everyone, but we can’t meet you all — otherwise that’d be our full-time job!
We’re a small team and can’t work with everyone, but if your service stands out, we’ll be happy to chat for upcoming weddings. Please skip the generic mass emails — if you personalize your message, your chances of getting a reply shoot way up!
Yes! We’ve welcomed several interns at MVDB since the beginning. Shoutout to Gwenn and Jeanne, who were with us the longest and the most often.
Jeanne still works with us regularly since her internship back in 2022. If you want to send a spontaneous application, please, no “Dear Sir or Madam” — be a little creative. That’s how we’ve always found our best interns :)
However, we don’t do apprenticeship contracts. Sorry!
